Supes Follow Mayor, Pull $57M Out of Their Ass

File photo: Supervisor David Chiu
via SFGate.com - The Central 'Snub'way has officially stuck its head into the sand with a $57 million commitment from the SF Board of Supervisors for beginning tunnel work even though no federal funding has been secured for that part of the project; or the rest of the $1.57 Billion project.

Also, if most of the ridership projections are correct, most of the people travelling this new route will merely get on in Chinatown and exit at Union Square.  So that's $1.57 billion for a 3/4 mile subway line? Thanks, I just wanted to make sure you heard me.

Riddle me this:  If the new completed T-Third Street goes from the Visitacion Valley to Chinatown, who is going to ride it. Those Chinese ladies can't stand the black folk and vice versa.  Bring your video camera when the thing opens, I'll be there creeping.

Liberals. Spending someone else's money like their Michael Jackson's siblings.  Shameful.
